Description
Oil level gauges with a single window have a sight glass that allows the oil level to be seen quickly during servicing and maintenance. In some special applications, these sight glasses provide better visibility in maintenance work, as they do not have a protective grid. In contrast to oil level gauges with a two-chamber protection system and stainless steel grid, constructions with single windows are therefore used particularly in protected areas.
The series with special Makrolon glass is a special construction that combines the benefits of the single window with the robust properties of the two-chamber system. Thanks to the special Makrolon® polycarbonate glass, these systems can withstand impact from objects with a mass of up to 30 g and a speed of up to 50 m/s.
The operating temperature is between -30°C … +120°C, with short peaks of up to 150°C (< 5 min). A reflector can be installed and markings applied on request.
