In order to both achieve the optimum flow and be able to rotate the rotor blades out of the wind to prevent storm damage in excessively high winds, hydraulic drives are usually used. This is one of the most challenging functions in wind energy plants, serving to safeguard the plant in every conceivable situation. EPHYMESS produces special temperature sensors in VA screw-in sleeves for exactly this purpose, which can withstand hydraulic pressures of up to 250 bar.
