Thank you for your interest in our vacancy. Protecting your personal data is important to us. We therefore inform you below about how your data is collected, processed and used during the application process in line with the relevant data protection provisions.

Purpose limitation for the gathering and processing of personal data

The personal data you provide is gathered and processed exclusively for the purposes of applicant management, the applicant selection process and recruitment, and is only used by authorised staff. All staff entrusted with applicant selection and data processing undertake to maintain the confidentiality of your data. There is no disclosure to third parties.

Please note that you yourself are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information you provide.

Retention period for application data and documents

If your application is rejected, the data you have transmitted will be erased automatically two months after notification of the rejection. This does not apply where a longer storage period is required due to statutory requirements (for example the burden of proof under the German General Equal Treatment Act) or where you have explicitly given consent to a longer storage period in our database of interested parties. Written applications are destroyed after expiry of the retention period unless you explicitly request their return.

Speculative applications

Where you submit a speculative application, you declare you consent for your data to be used beyond the specific application, as part of the application process for other vacancies. We will disclose your data to authorised staff as part of this process. Should you no longer desire this after a certain point in time, please notify us of this. Your data will then be immediately erased or your application documents destroyed.

Speculative applications for which we have no appropriate vacancy and no appropriate vacancy is expected in the foreseeable future are not processed, but are immediately erased or destroyed. Written speculative applications are destroyed and not returned.

Minors

Persons under 18 years should only transmit personal data to us with the consent of their parents. We will only use or disclose personal data on minors where this is permitted under the law, in order to gain the consent required under the law, or in order to protect this person.

Data security

The greatest possible security of our system is very important to us. We use modern data storage and security techniques to protect your data in the best possible way. This includes measures such as antivirus software and a firewall. All systems in which your personal data is saved or stored are access-protected and can only be accessed by a specific group of people responsible for human resources and the recruitment process.

Right of access, erasure, right to object

On request, we will be happy to inform you whether we have stored personal data on you and which data this is, in line with the applicable law. You have the right to demand that inaccurate data on you is corrected or that the saved data is erased in whole or in part.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The relevant data will then be immediately erased. In this case, please send notice of your withdrawal to the email address above or the address for applications, stating your full name. In some cases defined by law, data may be blocked instead of erased.
