Description

Thermocouples embedded in ceramic sleeves already have high mechanical resistance and the sensors are easy to install. They also retain the advantage of the small size with short reaction times, especially in the winding heads of electrical machines.

Assembly variants

Thermocouple with miniature ceramic sleeve

The assembly variant shows a thermocouple sealed in a ceramic sleeve (Al2O3) in a miniature design. The gas-tight ceramic sleeve measures ø 3 x 15 mm. The temperature range is –50°C to +200°C.

Thermocouple with ceramic sleeve and glass fibre insulation

The assembly variant shows a thermocouple sealed in a ceramic sleeve (Al2O3) with a glass fibre thermo line. The ceramic sleeve of the sensor head is gas-tight, with a fast thermal reaction time and a diameter of Ø 4.9 mm at a length of 30 mm. The glass fibre insulation increases the temperature range to –40°C to +600°C.
