Description

Thermocouples with metallic protective sleeves can be used almost anywhere. They have high mechanical resistance and can be easily installed. Despite this, they retain the advantage of the small size with short reaction times. All common metals in almost all dimensions are available as sleeve material.

Assembly variants

Thermocouples with metal sleeve

In this temperature sensor, the thermocouple and feed are pressed firmly into the protective sleeve with a hexagonal squeeze. To increase tightness, a shrinking tube can optionally be installed between the squeeze and feed.

Thermocouple with metal sleeve kink protection spring

In this sensor, a kink protection spring prevents the supply line from kinking, so that the cable can be laid even in very tight radii.

Thermocouple with cable shoe

Here, the thermocouple and the feed are sealed in a cable shoe. This construction is especially suitable for surface temperature measurement, particularly where there is also a requirement for high voltage-resistant insulation and good thermal contact with the measuring point.

Thermocouples with metal sleeve and drilled hole

This construction with aluminium square sleeve and a fastening hole with the dimensions 8 x 8 x 44 mm is also suitable for use to measure surface temperatures. The sensor can also be designed screened.
